Network Address
First address in a subnet that identifies the network.
A network address is the first address in a subnet and identifies the subnet itself rather than an individual device. It is paired with the broadcast address at the other end of the same CIDR block.
Devices cannot use the network address as a host address because it is reserved for routing and subnet identification, and it sits immediately before the first usable IP in the address range.
